Above the Pacific Coast

Motion, again, but that of the sea itself, is strikingly covered
by "Evening Waves"by K.Nakamura, one of the most
pleasing examples of Japanese work.
In this, though there is a feeling for design, the pattern is
not so noticeable, but the characteristic economy of
subject matter and nicety of placing is very evident.
there is nothing here but the line and roll of the breakers
of the sea and the reflection of the sun, yet it is complete,
and nothing. it seems, could be added without suggesting
unnecessary complication.
